Amy was appointed Solicitor-General of Coweta County by Governor Brian Kemp in March 2024.  Amy graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2004. She became an Assistant Solicitor-General at the Coweta County Solicitor’s Office in 2006 and became the Chief Assistant Solicitor-General in 2013. 

Amy has been a member of the Georgia Association of Solicitors-General Appellate Committee since 2019. As a member of GASG Appellate Committee, Amy helps prepare prosecutors across the state for appellate level oral arguments on cases which have statewide ramifications on criminal prosecution. 

Amy is a supporter of the Domestic Violence Task Force and recognizes that combatting domestic violence is a community effort involving prosecution, law enforcement, governmental agencies, local non-profits and concerned members of the community.

Amy strongly believes in the importance of rehabilitation to reduce recidivism and make the community safer.  She has been a member of Coweta County's Accountability Courts for a decade. Accountability Courts promote rehabilitation for offenders with substance use disorders by addressing the root of the problem which reduces recidivism.

Amy was a board member of the Coweta Community Foundation. She also served on the Newnan-Coweta Bar Association board as a member and as president.
